My Watercooler

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I thought I would share with you the ways that I know he loves me even when he doesn’t say it.

1. Every morning he calls out my name
2. I’m the first person he comes to when he is hurting
3. He flashes me a smile for no apparent reason
4. He appreciates me for who I am and doesn’t try to change me
5. He never criticizes me for the things I do or don’t do
6. His hugs are warm, heart felt, and genuine
7. Every night before he goes to bed he gives me a kiss
8. He thinks about me when I’m not around
9. Sometimes when we are walking in the park, he’ll simply grab my hand
10. Thus far, in his lifetime, he has told me that he loves me (unsolicited) three times

Happy Valentine’s August, I love you too.
